Account Manager

Basic Function

The purpose of this position is to create new customer partnerships and foster existing partnerships with key customers to grow OFITE revenues.

Position Responsibilities and Specific Duties

Provides a positive buying experience to the customer using a consultative selling process.

  • Aims to touch 20 customers Face-to-Face in a week, requiring up to 50% travel.
  • Manages and records sales funnel opportunities and selling activities into CRM.
  • Provides outstanding pre- and post-sale customer service to new and existing accounts.
  • Pursues sales leads and learns about customer needs.
  • Conducts presentations and product demos in a consultative manner to help demonstrate solutions to admitted customer problems.
  • Explains how OFITE can help facilitate accurate, safe, clean, and efficient analysis with our service and product solutions.
  • Takes ownership to understand the customer needs. Effectively offers product alternatives for customers based on clear application requirements to best meet customer requirements and to support sales objectives.
  • Maximize scope of supply. Recognizes that a customer of one product could also purchase other OFITE products. Demonstrates proactive selling of OFITE products. Identifies opportunities for expanding the sale through additional options and complimentary products.
  • Communicates with Inside Sales Representatives to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
  • Maintain and develop distributor relationships in partnership with the Director of Sales and Marketing.
  • Creates and updates strategies for assigned regions and/or customers including competitive/customer analysis, market share, and initiatives OFITE takes on to grow revenues.

Supports OFITE growth programs and initiatives.

  • Create and executes growth strategies for assigned regions.
  • Attends sales meetings to review sales funnel and strategy execution.
  • Represents OFITE policies and practices properly within communications to customers.
  • Identifies and communicates product/service improvements based on customer feedback.
  • Participates in continuous improvement programs.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Expected to have the ability to meet with customers at all levels.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of the company and our product line.
  • Have knowledge of the oil and gas industry and equipment, preferably oil field fluids background.
  • Selling methodology knowledge.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree or 5-7 years of sales experience (technical sales experience a plus)
  • Inside Sales, Outside Sales, Business Development, and/or Account Management Experience
  • Oil and gas industry experience a plus (Drilling Fluids, Well Cement, Frac)

This position reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing


Inventory and Logistics Specialist

Reports to Warehouse Operations Supervisor / Manager

Job Purpose

To carry out the day-to-day warehouse operations set forth by the Warehouse Operations Supervisor / Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive, stock, and document incoming material.
  • Pull, stage, and document outgoing material.
  • Maintain the organization and accuracy of current inventory levels.
  • Ensure that requests given by outside departments are serviced in a timely manner.
  • Follow warehouse safety procedures and policies in order to keep a safe and clean work environment.
  • Recommend measures to improve the efficiency and productivity of the warehouse.

Qualifications

  • Qualifications include:
    • Education: Minimum of high school diploma or GED.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Characteristics: Team oriented, attentive to detail, good time management.
  • Preferred:
    • Experience: 1+ years of warehouse or related work experience.
    • Prior HAZMAT packing experience

Working Conditions

Warehouse environment in a light assembly and distribution-based corporation.

Crating Specialist / Facilities

Reports to Shipping Supervisor

Job Purpose

Performs fabrication and construction of crates, skids, pallets and braces from wood material required for the storage and shipping of equipment and machinery.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs packing and packaging of equipment to prevent movement of material within crate, container, or skid
  • Build custom crates or other packing materials as needed
  • Take measurements and create accurate cut lists
  • Ensure that OFITE is in compliance with ISPM 15: guidelines for regulating wood packaging materials in International trade
  • Maintain complete and up-to-date purchasing, production, and shipping records for all heat treated wood packaging materials
  • Scrutinize all sales order and equipment checklists to ensure that the part numbers requested are received
  • Assist with building maintenance issues
  • Assist with packing orders for shipments

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma, with some college desirable
  • Experience in crating with ability to read tape measurements accurately and make appropriate cut lists

Working Conditions

Moves material as required by carrying, pushing, rolling, or operating hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other material handling equipment.

Primary Equipment Instrument Technician

Reports to Primary Equipment Supervisor

Basic Function

The purpose of this position is to work according to the production schedule to complete job orders.

Position Responsibilities and Specific Duties

  • Complete tasks according to the production schedule, ensuring that the equipment meets performance and quality standards.
  • Follow established safety and assembly procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area. Tools should be stored when not in use.
  • Participate on improvement teams to eliminate waste in the assembly process.
  • Refer jobs to team leader for review and completion.
  • Prepare complete and accurate documentation of all procedures performed. Non-conformance reports must be completed on material furnished by vendors that is not supplied as ordered, with follow-up noted.
  • Ability to work in other production areas as needed.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor or team leader.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • High School Diploma
  • Clean driving record
  • Must be able to read and understand technical English
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools
  • Basic electrical and electronics aptitude

Rig Field Service Technician

Basic Function (Purpose of Position)

The primary purpose of this position is to provide field support and service for OFITE equipment installed on oil rigs. This includes installation, service, and training at the rig site and remotely via phone or video call. The secondary purpose is to support the assembly and manufacturing of OFITE products at the Houston facility.

Position Responsibilities and Specific Duties

  • Follow internal OFITE and customer site safety procedures
  • Install, maintain, service, and support OFITE equipment on oil rigs around the world
  • Ensure equipment installation meets performance and quality standards as agreed to with the customer
  • Prepare complete and accurate documentation for all procedures performed
  • Complete non-conformance reports for material furnished by vendors that is not supplied as ordered, with follow-up noted
  • Conduct customer service via phone, email, video conference, and in person
  • Report service visit status daily to supervisor and manager when out of town
  • Support assembly, repair, and manufacturing activities as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area. Tools should be stored when not in use.
  • Participate in improvement teams to eliminate waste in the repair process
  • Provide customer training as needed
  • Submit expense reports and time sheets on first day back in office from service visit
  • Represent OFITE policies and practices properly in communications to customers
  • Identify and communicate product/service improvements to supervisor or manager based on customer feedback/experience
  • Build and maintain product knowledge through working in other production areas, attending OFITE training sessions, and interacting with OFITE technicians regarding product technical questions
  • Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor or manager
  • Requires travel in the US and internationally

Knowledge and Skills

  • Mechanical, electrical, and electronics aptitude
  • Basic PC/computer skills
  • Maintain good knowledge of the company and our product line

  • Availability to travel is required, including occasionally on weekends.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening test.
